Could be the big break...

This was a self portrait I took of myself last winter. I was going for a really strong effect from the snow, and "bokeh" working together but it didn't snow for very long. I would have probably shot for a bit longer, but about 15min in there was a pack of coyotes out in the back of my house. I wasn't really interested in hanging around for very long.

I've got a few big things coming up really fast... A few not so major, and one that could potentially change my life entirely. I've been preparing for a while, not if just gotta "Nut up, or Shut up!!" (Tallahassee) We'll see.

iPhone 4s

This was a Photoshop CS5.5 test. The bottom right image is the original image shot on my iPhone 4s. The bottom left is edited with instagram. The top image was edited in Adobe lightroom & Photoshop.

Ive missed a few days on my photo-a-day project. So I'm going to be making up for it these next few days. Going to be posting a lot of new photos, and maybe a few older ones that never made the site, but I'm re-editing now.

Dying to Live

Billy Christie

If your life was made into a movie after you die... Do you want it to go straight to video? Get out there and be somebody. The purpose of life, is to have a life with purpose.

Risk

Billy Christie

Going to be making some serious changes in the next few weeks. Been long over due, and much needed. Sometimes you've gotta just take a chance, and hope for the best. If it doesn't work out, then you still tried.

Day 3 Woo Whoooo!!

Tuesday, June 12, 2012

This summer is going to be different.

So the "Photo-A-Day" project is coming along. Not so sure if I can really say too much because its only the second day. But, as of now, I'm still doing it. (Got farther then I thought) I figured that I always have my iPhone so why not utilize that as an option.

Awesome day to say the least. Got to see an old friend I haven't seen in awhile, road the bike 76miles (somehow still have my watch tan line) and got to just relax. Going to start planing a trip out to California to see some friends, and enjoy the ocean from the west coast.

I've got to get out of Michigan for a few days. I like going up north to have some "away-time" but there's too much world to go out and see. Becoming a photographer has made me want to travel that much more. I just want to go everywhere!!

Whats weird is that for some reason that seems unrealistic and something that a lot of people want to do, but never end up doing. Whether their job wont let them, or the cost to fly here, or there is just too steep; there's always something that is holding people back from doing something that they "want-to-do". I can say that because I was that person. Every summer I would make plans to go somewhere and I never go. Well this summer is different. I cant just sit ideally by and just waste my life. Miss out on experiences that I really want to be apart of. Because when your 90-years old and you're laying on your death bed and you look back, what would you rather see? Being at work all of the time, and never doing the things you really wished you could have done because you just couldn't get away from work, or you didn't think that you could raise the money to go anywhere? Or do you want to look back and remember what it looks like to be on top of half dome in Yosemite National Park, or remember the hustle and bustle of New York, or the mountains of Colorado? ect. To me, that an easy one.

Long story made still kinda long, I want need to start traveling, and see the world.

Jamie Christie

So I've decided to update the blog daily from here on out. I want to start shooting more, and getting more photos out there and onto the web. I figured this, as well as the website will be the best way to do so. If you are reading this, and haven't seen the webpage you should go check it out!

Here's a few of Jamie, a senor that was a bit tricky to get shots of. Long story short, she really didn't want to get any photos taken, but, we made her!!!
